The main differences in safety performance between laminated tempered safety glass and single tempered glass are as follows:

Structural difference: laminated tempered safety glass consists of two layers of tempered glass plates and one layer of laminated film, while single-layer tempered glass has only one layer of tempered glass plate. With this structure, when the laminated tempered safety glass is impacted, even if the outer glass is broken, the interlayer film in the middle can stick the fragments together to prevent the fragments from splashing, thus providing higher safety.

Impact resistance: laminated tempered safety glass has higher impact resistance because of its sandwich structure. Even under strong impact, laminated glass can maintain a relatively complete state to prevent debris from scattering, while single-layer tempered glass may be completely broken when impacted.
